AND TOLEDO STILL SUCKS

"The Euphonium is one of the most overworked instruments in the band because of its versatility. It can double with almost any other instrument or instrument group within the band without detracting from the sound. If there were no euphoniums in a piece, something would be missing. No one would know what was missing, but they would know something was."

I play Euphonium, it’s like a Baritone, Ok a small Tuba

Euphonium [yoo-foh-nee-uhm]

A brass musical instrument similar to the baritone (BUT NOT THE SAME) and tuba but somewhat smaller, with a wide bore and mellow tone.

From the Greek word Euphōnos meaning Sweet sounding: Pleasing effect to the ear: Smooth voiced and pretty much all around awesome.

As a Euphonium you must realize that we are not the same as a Baritone although we may play the same music. Euphonium’s are a Conical instrument meaning that the tubing continuously grows wider through the length of the instrument; as opposed to Cylindrical meaning the width remains constant through most of the length of the instrument.
